I’ve been working hard on my new novel, Fairy Nuff, which should be coming out later this year. Most of it is done, but I’ve stuck it in a bottom drawer while I switch hats to work on a non-fiction project with a pressing deadline. I’m really looking forward to coming back with fresh eyes at the novel and giving it a good polish.

Just to let you know that my short story Matchmaker Cat, which was launched as a free give-away (ebook only), is starting to see a price being attached at various sites. If you want to bag a bargain, better get your skates on. However, at full price, it’s only 77p / 99cents. It’s had some really good reviews on Smashwords and Amazon (I’ve only just seen the Amazon ones – thanks to everyone who said nice things). More details of the story, with links, here. I will need to update the short story page to reflect this.

I started a new novel this morning. It was a brilliant feeling. The follow up to If Wishes Were Husbands is going to be even better – I just have that feeling.
But, as I sat down with that blank screen in front of me, I initially found it difficult to find that illusive place from where words seem to flow.
